Misti M. Ranck, MS CCC-A
Misti obtained her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and prior to that earned her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa. Before moving to Kansas, Misti was the Audiology Department Manager at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has also previously worked in a private practice audiology setting performing diagnostic testing and hearing aid fittings for patients of all ages. Misti and her husband JJ have three sons and live in the Shawnee area. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering with her church/school, and attending sporting events.
Meryl R. Lockling, AuD
Meryl obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from Missouri State University in May of 2012, and prior to that earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota. Her special area of interest is pediatric audiology and hearing aids. She and her husband recently moved to Lawrence after she completed a year long externship at the Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee where she received special training in pediatric diagnostics. In addition to hearing, Meryl enjoys sewing, crafting, watching Nebraska football, and spending time with her husband Stephen and puppy Lyla.
Jessica Gaughan, HIS-CPOP
Jessica obtained her Hearing Instrument Specialist licensure in 2006. She practiced dispensing hearing aids in a private retail setting before beginning work at Lawrence Otolaryngology in October 2009. She is a certified Oto-Technician. She is currently studying at KUMC working towards her doctorate in Audiology and plans to specilize in vestibular diagnostics and treatment. Before begining her career in hearing healthcare, Jessica graduated from KU with a degree in Anthropology and spent a year traveling abroad. She lives with her husband in Lawrence and spends her free time crafting and cooking.
Deborah Kleim, CPOP
Deborah Kliem was certified as an Oto-technician in 2011. She plays an important role in our office as the Administrative Assistant and Speech Department Coordinator as well as providing clinical audiometric testing under the guidance of our physicians. She supplements her busy schedule with University courses working towards a degree in Optometry. Deb grew up in Miami, Florida and loves to spend time with family, friends and with her adorable schnauzers, Phoenix and Lola.
