Misti M. Ranck, M.S., CCC-A

Misti obtained her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and prior to that earned her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa. Before moving to Kansas, Misti was the Audiology Department Manager at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has also worked in a private practice audiology setting performing diagnostic testing and hearing aid fittings for patients of all ages. Misti enjoys spending time with her three sons, traveling, reading and attending sporting events.

 
 

 


Jami S. Johnson, M.S., CCC-A

Jami completed her Master of Science degree in Audiology from Arizona State University in 1989 and her Bachelor of Science degree at Kansas State University. Jami enjoys conducting hearing evaluations with a variety of age groups and has worked in private ENT and audiology practices in Arizona, California and most recently, Minnesota. She is grateful for current hearing aid technology and enjoys the opportunity to help patients to make the most of their hearing. Jami and her husband live in Lenexa where there enjoy time with their adult children and most especially their new role as grandparents!

 

 


Katie Turner, Au.D., CCC-A

Katie, a Lawrence native, obtained her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Salus University in 2008 and prior to that earned her Bachelor of General Studies in Speech-Language-Hearing and a Master of Arts Degree in Audiology from the University of Kansas. She specializes in audiometric evaluation of hearing disorders for all ages and fitting of hearing instruments and accessories for adults. She is interested in cutting edge hearing aid technology including tools to aid in speech understanding in noise as well as hearing aid Bluetooth connectivity, including direct to phone/ tablet/ TV hearing aid capabilities. She lives in Eudora with her two children. Katie has been a practicing Audiologist for over 20 years and has been providing hearing healthcare services the Ottawa community for the last 13 years.

 

 


Kay Bassett, H.I.S.

Kay studied early childhood special education at Missouri State University and the University of Kansas before she went on to study Sign Language Interpretation at Johnson County Community College, receiving her state and national certification. Kay has interpreted in medical, legal, and educational settings, taught sign language, and has an extensive background working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She received her Hearing Instrument Specialist license in October of 2015. In her spare time, Kay enjoys fostering dogs for the Lawrence Humane Society and spending time with her family.

 

 


Jennifer M. Cannady, MA, CCC-SLP

Jennifer M. Cannady, MA, CCC-SLP, received her Master‘s in speech-language pathology and is certified with the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. At the Kansas Voice Center, Jennifer participates in patient evaluation and directs treatment for a variety of voice and swallowing disorders. She has been professionally trained in voice with an emphasis in opera and musical theater. As an experienced singer, Jennifer is active in a variety of performance mediums throughout the Kansas City area.  Most recently, she served as an adjunct instructor for Rockhurst University’s Communicative Science and Disorders graduate program.
